Since 1973, Wooden Stairs and Railings has combined engineering expertise innovation, with quality material and skillful carpentry traditions we have designed manufactured and installed a wide ranging portfolio of custom staircase designs within South Western Ontario. These design have been based on home owners dreams, homebuilders standards, OBC and SG-7 requirements have maintained strict quality controls over manufacturing, installation and final sanding.
As our goal has always been to provide our clients with staircases that are elegant, ergonomic and structurally sound. We can offer our clients a wide variety of standard items and designs in order to keep costs at a minimum. For those who wish to customize, our designing abilities are available almost any lumber type can be used in the constructions of our staircases. We regularly use select or better grades of beech, birch, cedar, black cherry, hard maple, mahogany, poplar, red-oak, red-pine, soft maple, white oak and white pine.
We have also worked together with other companies to produce a variety of wrought iron rails, stainless steel rails, and rails incorporating acrylic rods and glass. Show us your ideas and we will make them a reality.
